Wilma Joyce Prater

Wilma Lane Prater, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021.

Memorial Services for Wilma Prater will be planned at at later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Prater was born on July 21st, 1934 in Goree, Texas to Roy and Eunice Pearl (Austin) Lane. She married Leo Prater on September 30, 1951. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2017. On top of being an accomplished florist, she loved the hunt and history of antiques and collectables. The history of a by gone age made the hunt more fun than the sale. She liked people and its connection to them. What she didn't keep for herself she sold at her shop... "Wilma's Collectibles". was opened 2002-2007. After a 14 1/2 year battle with Alzheimer's she has gone home to Jesus!

She is survived by
2 Twin Daughters, Paula Whitefield and husband James of Snyder, TX and Patsy Medley and husband Steven of San Angelo, TX.
Son, Michael Prater and wife Ginabeth of Breckenridge, TX;
6 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Roy and Eunice Lane and 2 Brothers, John Raymond Lane and Buster Eugene Lane.
