William Timothy Jones

William Timothy Jones of Snyder, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 64. Tim was born to parents Dr. Wilton Jones and Edyth Nash Jones October 19, 1955 in Snyder, TX. He grew up as the youngest of 3 children and attended Snyder High School. In 1980, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in English. Tim was passionate for sports, nature and landscape, and a friend to many. Tim is survived by his sister, Penny Bane, husband Eddie of Midland, TX. Step-mother Carolyn Reed-Jones of San Angelo, TX. Step-brother, Mark Reed, wife Darla of Southlake, TX. Step-sister, Cindy Cone, husband Steve of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Brother-in-law, Joe Doherty of Wimberly, TX and many nieces and nephews. Tim is proceeded in death by his parents; sister, Becky Jones; nephew, Andrew Alsup. A time of remembrance will be held at Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 9 am – 4 pm. Tim will be laid to rest at a later date in Austin next to his sister and nephew.
