William "Don" Donald Lay

"Don" Lay , age 87, passed away on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Visitation is set for Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Lay was born on April 12th, 1930 in Mc Farland, California to William and Bessie (Lungsford) Lay. After graduating High School he married Bobbie Jean Fore. They were married 18 years. He then married Lenia Hudson, they were married for 43 yrs. He was a Farmer and worked hard his whole life. He also liked to fish, and go to Norma's cafe for coffee. He also enjoyed visiting the John Deere House and he was a big fan of Donald Trump.

Anna and husband Steve Kitchens of Snyder, TX

He had 23 grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers, Doyle Lay and Royce Lay, 1 Sister, Wanda Phifer, 1 Son, Roger Edwin Lay and 1 Daughter, Deborah Maddox
