Wilbur Lavern Fry (Fry)

Wilbur Lavern Fry, 91, rejoined his wife, Bonnie Jean on April 28th 2025.

A graveside service for Mr. Fry will be held on Wednesday, April 30th , 2025, at 10 a.m. at

Hillside memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025,

from 6 pm – 8 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home.

Wilbur Lavern Fry was born Jan. 3, 1934, in Exline Iowa to Virgie (Daniels) and Wilbur

Lewis Fry. He married Bonnie Jean Laske on June 13, 1954, in Numa, Iowa. He

served in the US Army for 6 years. Wilbur was a civilian employee, Microwave

Communications supervisor at Fort Bliss, TX and retired with this service. He is an

Elder of the Community of Christ Church.

He is survived by 4 Daughters Jean Burns and husband Glenn of Snyder, TX

Joyce Martin and husband Robert of Las Cruces, NM, Denise Squires and husband Mike of Nixa, MO

Suzanne Gattis and husband Mark of Denton, TX

7 Grandchildren Glenn J. Burns of Snyder, TX, Justin Squires and wife Gizem of Jber, Alaska.

Paco Martin and wife Abbie of White Rock, NM, Emilio Martin and wife Julia Lawton, OK

Tamara Kay Jones and husband Zack of Springfield, MO, Troy Gattis and wife Annaleesa

of Denton, TX, Jennessa Mercer and husband Daniel of Corinth, TX
