Virginia (Craighead) Bloom passed away on January 15th, 2024, at Good Life Senior Living Center.
Born January 7th, 1941 in Carbon, Texas to LeRoy and Nell Craighead. She married O'Neal Bloom on December 26th, 1958 in Colorado City, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 9th, 2014.
Virginia was a longtime business woman, in Snyder, for more than 40 years. Owner and operator of O'Neal's Interior's Construction Company, Clark Lumber and Supply Company and her favorite, The Pleasure's Mine Hallmark Store, which she held Gold Crown Status for 16 consecutive years, under her 28 years owning The Hallmark franchise store, in Snyder. Virginia's Life was her work!
Virginia is survived by one Brother, Clifton Lee Craighead of Olden, TX; 2 Sons, Jerry Bloom of Colorado City, TX and John Bloom of Snyder, TX; 2 Grandsons, Tanner Bloom and wife Jessica of Wilson, TX and Remington Bloom of Lubbock, TX; Granddaughter, Samantha Gregory and husband Josh of Wolforth, TX; 2 Great-Granddaughters, Rainey Jo Bloom and Reese Kamryn Gregory.
Her ashes will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Gardens and at the Craighead Family Plot in Carbon, Texas with a private service, at a later date. Under the care of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Nell Craighead, Husband, O'Neal Bloom; Brother, Roy Elton Craighead, Son, James Lewis Bloom, 2 Daughters-in-law, Kelly (Tolbert) Bloom and Tisha (Morrell) Bloom.
The Family would like to Thank all at Good Life Senior Living Center Dr. Hough and all the nursing staff, at Hospice Care.
