Vincente Frausto

Vicente Frausto, 85, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026. He was born on December 22, 1940, to Callentano Frausto and Marcas (Beltram) Frausto.

Visitation is set for Thursday September 24,2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder, Texas. The Services are set for Friday September 25,2026 at 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home with Father Albert Joseph Devansesan HGN officiating the services. Interment will follow at the Snyder Cemetery.

Vicente married the love of his life, Maria Alvarez, on December 20, 1969. As a young adult, he helped his father work on the family farm, picking cotton, planting crops, and tending to the animals before and after school. His strong work ethic and dedication remained a part of him throughout his life. In the early 1980's, Vicente was employed by Welex until the company closed its doors. He then went to work for the City of Snyder, driving sanitation trucks until his retirement. Even after retiring, Vicente continued working part-time for the City of Snyder, watering and caring for the plants around the courthouse for several more years.

Vicente enjoyed traveling to different states, and one of his favorite pastimes was visiting casinos. He also loved fishing and watching football on television-on any night of the week, you could often find him enjoying a game. Vicente and Maria were devoted members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. They were always ready and willing to help in any way they could. Vicente was especially proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus and valued the friendships and fellowship he found there.

He is survived by his wife Frances Reyna of Snyder, Texas, his sister-in-law Eusevia Alvarez, his nephew Johnny Alvarez, his niece Jo Ann Leighton, his niece Linda Morin and husband Simon, his niece Lindsey Pena and husband Johnny, and nephew Zane Morin, the Alvarez family, The Hermosillo family and the Chaidez family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Callentano and Marcas Frausto, his first wife Maria Frausto, his brother-in-law Lorenzo Alvarez, his sister-in-law Ramona Alvarez, his brother-in-law Jesus Albarez, his sister-in-law Soccoro Chaidez and Emilano Chaidez his brother-in-law, and his brother-in-law Joe Albarez.

Vicente was a simple man who enjoyed life and found happiness in the things that mattered most: family, faith, hard work, and the simple pleasures of everyday life. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
