Thresea Johnson was born on February 17, 1950, in Loraine, Texas, to Frank and Frances Schulze. She passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

Visitation is set for Friday August 14,2026 at 1:00 PM, at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Services are set for Friday August 14,2026 at 2:00 PM at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Fulfer officiating the service. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Thresea dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a loving and compassionate nurse. Caring for people was more than just her profession; it was a reflection of who she was. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others touched countless lives throughout the years. That same loving heart extended to her family and everyone was fortunate enough to know her.

Thresea will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to helping others, and the unconditional love she had for her family. She found great meaning in caring for those around her, and the love she gave will continue through the generations she leaves behind. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory and the lessons she taught them in their hearts. Thresea will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Vasquez, and son-in-law, Felipe Vasquez; grandchildren, Jose Vasquez, Esmerelda Vasquez, Anastacia Vasquez, and Zoe Vasquez; and great-grandsons, Westin Windham and Waylon Windham. She is also survived by her son, Michael Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Kary Johnson; grandchildren, Stephanie Salinas, Hunter Perez, and Brendan Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Karter Johnson, Kallie Johnson, Karlee Johnson, Motley Perez, Montana Perez, and McKinley Martinez.

Thresea was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Ray Johnson; her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
