Sylvia Theresa Voelkel

Sylvia Theresa Voelkel, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th St., Snyder, Texas79549. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 2405 35th St., Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Steve Highfield officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Sylvia was born on June 1st, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana to John and Sylvia (Herty) Voelkel. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, active in helping with Meals on Wheels, supporting the Snyder Community. She was fond of cats, especially her "Sam".

She is survived by

Sister, Judy Green;

Nephew, Jarrett Green of Snyder, TX;

Great-Nephew, J.P. Green of Snyder, TX;

3 Great-Nieces, Lacy Green of Snyder, TX, Kayleigh Beeler of Midland, TX and Jayden Semple of Corpus Christi, TX and Special Friend, Sarah Olguin of Snyder, TX.

She was preceded in death by Parents, John Andrew and Sylvia (Herty) Voelkel; Sister, Jacquelyn Voelkel and Twin Brother, John Andrew Voelkel., Jr.
