Ruben Guerra Pena

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruben Guerra Pena, he passed at his residence in the presence of family on March 13, 2025.

Rosary is planned for Thursday March 20th, 2025 at 6:00 pm in Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel 200 east 37th street Snyder, Texas 79549.The Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church 3005 Ave. A Snyder, Texas 79549, on Friday March 21st, 2025 at 12:00 pm, with Father Selva Pappu. Burial will follow at the Snyder Cemetery.

Ruben Pena was born July 29, 1948 in Loraine, Texas, to Juana Guerra Pena and Martin Pena. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus group and was a kind, and compassionate man that loved everyone he came across. Ruben worked at the Magnesium Plant for many years. He worked jantorial work for six years and many years working in tax prepepration. Ruben helped everyone out that needed anything or needed help. Ruben loved his western shows and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team. Ruben had a very good sense of humor and enjoyed making other people laugh. He liked to listen to music too. Ruben was a wonderful husband, wonderful father and grandfather. He loved all his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and loved his wifes side of the family.

His surving relatives are two daughters Suzanne Pena of Snyder, Texas and Valierie Pena of Snyder, Texas. One grandaughter Nicole Pena of Snyder, Texas. One sister Anita Alberez from Snyder, Texas, and one brother George Pena from Snyder, Texas.

He is preceded in death by two daughters Elaine Pena and Sandra Pena from Snyder, Texas. His wife Susie Pena from Snyder, Texas. Parents Martin Pena and Juana Guerra Pen from Snyder, Texas. His sister Julia Luera from Snyder, Texas. His brother Martin Pena Jr. from Big Spring ,Texas. Brother Remigo Pena from Alrington, Texas.
