Ruben Garcia Escobedo, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.

A Rosary will be Recited on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th St., Snyder, Texas 79549. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1311 Avenue K, Snyder, Texas 79549 with Father Dylan Crwly officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Escobedo was born on July 6th, 1949 in Robstown, Texas to Florentino and Angelita (Garcia) Escobedo. He married Guadalupe Martinez on May 12th, 1967, in Snyder, Texas. He liked mechanic work on vehicles, working on lawnmowers and fishing.

He was a loving dedicated father and husband. He loved to make everyone smile and laugh. He had a strong personality. He was never afraid to tell it how it was. He loved to see how everything worked. Anyone who ever met Ruben, could not forget how hard he worked for his family and friends. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

4 Sons and 4 Daughters, Ruben Escobedo, Jr. of Snyder, TX, Arnulfo Escobedo of Snyder, TX, Chrystal Taylor of Knox City, TX, Daniel Escobedo and wife Abigail of Snyder, TX, Rosemary Escobedo of Snyder, TX, Monica Beauchamp and husband Adam of St. Francisville, LA, Romana Escobedo of Snyder, TX and Alejandro Escobedo and wife Rebecca Juarez of Snyder, TX;

27 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren;

3 Brothers, Florentino Escobedo, Jr., Robert Escobedo and Johnny Escobedo and wife Petra of Snyder, TX and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Florentino and Angelita (Garcia) Escobedo; Sister, Aurelia Escobedo and Kye Isaiah Blum.
