Roy white

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Carl White Sr.,80 who passed away on March 3, 2026. Roy was born on November 23, 1945, in Roscoe, Texas to James Archie White and Irene Purdy Hoyle. Though our hearts are saddened by this loss, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and memories shared throughout his life.

Roy was someone who truly enjoyed life and the people in it. Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Many would say they never met a stranger. Whether sharing stories, offering support, or simply spending time with family and friends. Roy was a Army veteran in Vietnam war.

Roy is survived by his two daughters Carla Guynes of Snyder, Texas, and Susan Grimes of Snyder, Texas. His brothers Lester Paul Hoyle of Oklahoma City, Texas and Sidney Wayne Hoyle of Rotan, Texas. Betty White of Snyder, Texas and Wesley White like a son of Kilgore, Texas Many grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, mother Irene Purdy Hoyle of Rotan, Texas and James Archie White of Snyder, Texas. One brother James Merrell White of Las Angeles, California, and one son Roy Carl White Jr. of Snyder, Texas.

Roy will be deeply missed and forever remembered. No services are planned at this time.
