Rosemary Jones

Rosemary Jones, age 97 of Snyder, passed away January 28, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Samuel Ramirez officiating. A family graveside service will be held prior to the chapel service. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born November 15, 1920 in Hermleigh, TX to Havey and Rosa (Long) Hodnett. She married Howard Jones on March 16, 1942 in Roscoe, TX. He passed away in 2005. Mrs. Jones was an active member at the Scurry County Senior Citizend Center where she loved playing dominos, dancing and being with her friends. She is survived by 6) children Aubrey Jones and Setsuko of Snyder Tim Jones of Kilgore Karen Stewart and Buddy of Snyder Bobby and Vickie Jones of Snyder Vicki and Larry White of Snyder Steve Jones of Corpus Christi Son in Law Jeff Martin of Snyder 2) sisters Joann Stroud Of Eliasville, TX Barbara Godbee of Hsinsville, LA 17 Grandchildren 34 great Grandchildren 4 great great Grandchildren (2 due in April) The family would also like to recognize her special caregivers; Shalawn Smith and Yvette Jones.
