Rodrigo Flores

Rodrigo "Richard" Flores, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church with Father Alexander Amburose ,HGN officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Flores was born on March 13th, 1932 in Pawnee, Texas to Juan and Felipita (Mariscal) Flores. He married Lydia Andrade on December 7th, 1955 in Dickens, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1996. He loved his family and farming. He enjoyed selling produce between The Coliseum and Stripes. He was known for being friendly to every customer with a smile, a story and extra produce.

5 Sons, Richard Flores and wife Rebecca of Lutz, FL, Stanley Flores and wife Angelica of Lewisville, TX, Joseph Flores of Mexico City, Mexico, Peter Flores and wife Christina of Lubbock, TX and Johnny Anthony Flores of Snyder, TX;
5 Daughters, Eugenia Flores of Starke, FL, Herlinda Flores of Abilene, TX, Mary Felipita Selvera and husband Frank of Snyder, TX, Esther Flores of Snyder, TX and Carol Lou Flores of Ralls, TX;
27 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Juan and Felipita (Mariscal) Flores; Wife Lydia Flores; 2 Daughters, Sylvia DeLeon and Estella Garcia; 2 Brothers, Fernando Flores and Octuanio Flores and 2 Sisters, Luisa Garcia and Manuela Rosenbum.
