Robert Matthew Riojas

Robert "Bobby" Matthew Riojas, age 39, passed away on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023.

Family Visitation is planned for Friday, September 22nd, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, 200 E. 37th Street, Snyder, Texas 79549, with Pastor Andrew Malmsten officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Riojas was born on May 2nd, 1984 in Miami, Florida to Orlando Zavala and Rachel (Riojas) Gutierrez. Bobby was an outgoing person but also a loner. He loved his family. The first thing that comes to mind is his smile and his laugh. It was all about smiles and laughs for him, cracking jokes and being silly while clowning around with everyone. While in school he played basketball and football and wanted to join the Army but was mostly a stay at home kid and enjoyed playing his video games and hanging out with family enjoying the good times especially when football season came around. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. As he got older, he worked various handy jobs and fast food restaurants. He took up drawing and from there his tattoos came into play. He would tell us that every tattoo he had on his body had a story behind it. He also loved cooking his homemade meals, had a passion for listening to his music and was one of those guys that liked to dress and look high maintenance. He was a good spirited person, loved his family and wanted us all to be in contact with each other. He loves his kids and was very excited about the next step of his life. Our lifetime with Bobby was cut short. But we all have so many memories of him. And so many to put down on paper.

Sisters, Stephanie Zavala and spouse Jason Lobdell of Grand Island, NE, Savannah Zavala of Wallace, SC, Anna Guerra of Poteet, TX, Samantha Balderas of Pueblo, CO and Vanessa Malmsten and husband Andrew of Snyder, TX;

Brother, Orlando "Pye" Zavala, Jr. of Mauldin, SC;

Daughter, April Rodriguez of Clovis, NM;

Sons, George Rodriguez of Clovis, NM and Elijah Riojas of Cheyenne, WY;

Grandsons, Josiah Rae Romo of Clovis, NM and George Augustine Rodriguez of Colvis, NM;

Nieces, Lexius Mendoza, Mercedes Clemmons and husband Ryland, Esperanza Campos-Reyes, Anna Campos-Reyes, Lilliana Lobdell, Anais Lobdell, Andrea Malmsten, Desire' Malmsten, Alexis Zavala, Amelia Zavala, Destiny Zavala and Kassidi Zavala;

Nephews, Salvador Mendoza, Jr., Ezekiel Garcia, Elijah Garcia, Nicolas Malmsten and Kingston Malmsten;

Great-Niece, Naeh Sardina;

Great Nephews, Pablo Mendoza, Gilbert Mendoza and Raul Mendoza;

and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, on both his mom and dad's side of the family. He has a very big Family.

He was preceded in death by Great-Grandparents, Jose and Josephina Zamora; Grandmother, Mary Zavala and Brother, Daniel Navarro, Jr.
