Raymond B. Alarcon, age 70 of Snyder, passed away Tuesday, November 07, 2017.

Rosary for Mr. Alarcon will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mass for Mr. Alarcon will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Raj officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Alarcon was born January 10, 1947 in Poteet, Tx to Joaquin and Romona (Briones) Alarcon. He married Adelia Puente on October 17, 1963 in Snyder. He spent many years in the oilfield. He also worked at Cogdell Memorial Hospital where people knew him as "Dr. Ray." Dr. Ray would spend his time uplifting, counseling and encouraging all of those he came in contact with. Raymond never met a stranger. His past time included BBQing with the family and gambling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Alarcon, Sister Pauline Carrisalez, Great Grandchild Phoenix Alarcon and Daughter in law Brenda Alarcon
