1935-2018

It is with joy that the Dennis family announces that Pat Dennis went to her heavenly home on a beautiful Sunday morning by faith and in peace.

Born Patsy Ruth Hancock on August 22, 1935 to W.A. and Johnnie Hancock at home in the Sardis Community, Texas, as the sixth and final child, she graduated high school in Roby and married E.B. Dennis on Feb. 21, 1953 in Anson, Texas.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Michael and his wife Marci Dennis, and Jal and his wife Michele Dennis. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jared Dennis, Somer Love, Jodi Mandrell and Trace Dennis; seven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

A private family service was held in Rotan, Texas, and the family thanks you for your prayers and understanding.

As God’s sunshine blesses the world, she let her light shine on many. Gone but not forgotten.
