Orpha Dorman , age 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 in Snyder,

A graveside service will be on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Brother Nicky Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorman was born on May 5th, 1932 in Clinton, Missouri to Earl and Zella (Langley) McGowen. She married Howard Dorman July 7, 1948 in Canyon, Ohio. She later became an LVN. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is survived by Two sons, James Dorman of Snyder, Texas and Mike Dorman and wife Diane of San Angelo, Texas. Three daughters Vinita Beights and husband Scott of Tuscola, Texas, Cindy Davis and husband Don of Little Rock, Arkansas and Diane Dorman of Phoenix, Arizona. One sister Janet Montoya of Mercedes, Texas and one brother Rubert McGowen of Oregon. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren she raised as her own - Billy Johnson from Snyder, Texas and Brad Johnson of Lansing, Michigan and 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.,

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Howard. Daughter Nina Johnson. Sisters Susan Black and Zella Mae Petty. Great granddaughter Chloe Michelle Strange and great grandson Grant Scott Gallager.,
