Nova Inez Haile, 86, of Hermleigh, Texas died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Windcrest Healthcare Center in Abilene Texas.
No Family Visitation is planned. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Sweetwater Cemetery, 2000 W. Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, Texas with Pastor Steve Highfield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Nova was born to Ira and Naomi (Oliver) Haile in Safford, Arizona on January 9, 1938. She grew up in many areas of West Texas including Midland, Abilene and Sweetwater. On September 3, 1961, she married Theodore Martin Olsen, Sr. in Abilene, Texas. Nova and Ted settled in Hermleigh, Texas with their five children in the early 80’s. Nova was a devoted Christian that read her Bible daily. She loved to sew and was a gifted painter among her many talents. Nova was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Snyder, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Orval Cody Haile and Arnold Haile, her sister, Vonceil Harris and Theodore Martin Olsen, Sr.
Survivors include her
3 Sons, Theodore Martin Olsen Jr. and wife Debi of Abilene, Texas, Chris Olsen of Hermleigh, Texas and Thomas Olsen and wife Renee of Campbell, California;
2 Daughters, Karen Owens and husband Todd of Snyder, Texas and Amanda Espinosa of Midland, Texas;
4 Grandsons, Dakota Owens and wife Morgan of Lubbock, Texas, Joshua Owens of Lubbock, Texas, Nathan Olsen of Abilene, Texas and Jakob Espinosa of Midland, Texas and
Granddaughter, Skylar Espinosa of Midland, Texas.
