Morris Chandler

"M.L." Morris Chandler , age 84, passed away on Friday, July 21st, 2017.

Family Visitation is planned for Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Chandler was born on January 19th, 1933 in Snyder, Texas to Walter and Lida (Leatherwood) Chandler. He married Moarine Palmer on November 6, 1950 in Snyder. He was enlisted in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. M.L. was retired with the City of Snyder being employed as a police officer, a sheriffs deputy and also worked for the Snyder Cemetery. He enjoyed mentoring his law enforcement friends as well as running his jug lines fishing for catfish.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings: Inez Prince, Hollis Chandler, D.D. Chandler, Irene Kidd, Floyd Chandler, Iva Nell Barker and Leonard Chandler.
