Martha Elizabeth Goolsby

Martha Elizabeth (Dodson) Goolsby, age 71, passed away on Monday, August 24th, 2020. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Goolsby will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home, with John Pena officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Goolsby was born on February 10th, 1949 in Lamesa, Texas to Floyd and Martha (Warren) Dodson. She was a member of Deep Creek Church, Dunn, TX. She loved her family, dogs and quilting. She was a Prison Guard, for over 20 years at the Price Daniel Unit. She is survived by 3 Sons, Wayne Hardy and wife Melissa of Hobbs, NM, Terry Lynn Goolsby, Sr. of Snyder, TX and Terry Lynn Goolsby, Jr. of Snyder, TX; 2 Daughters, Belinda Hart of Odessa, TX and Melynda Goolsby of Snyder, TX; 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Alvin Dodson and wife Ann of Snyder, TX and Jimmy Dodson of Snyder, TX; Sister, Marylene Wright of Snyder, TX; and numerous Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by Parents, Floyd Tat and Martha Irene (Warren) Dodson; Husband, J.C. Goolsby; 2 Daughters, Candy Goolsby and Leslie Goolsby; and 2 Brothers, Lewis Dodson and Bill Dodson.
