She was born on November 10, 1949, in Roscoe, Texas, to Pat and Beverly Ainsworth. Marsha graduated from Snyder High School in 1967. She attended Angelo State for a year, then transferred to Tech in 1969 where she graduated in December of 1970. She met her husband, Barry, while in Lubbock.
She married Barry Cribbs in July of 1970, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. They took a scenic tour of Texas and Southeast Oklahoma before settling back in Snyder in 1980. Marsha worked for Cogdell, Howard Gray Motors, created her own monogram and embroidery business- Fancy Threads, First Christian Church Secretary, Scurry County Appraisal District, and, among all of these, a full-time wife, mother, and grandmother.
Marsha loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and making everyone feel at home. Most of all, she had a true passion for quilting. She made quilts for all different occasions, her sisters' breast cancer awareness cookoffs, graduation quilts, and family treasures. She was always ready to see the finished product.
