**Obituary for Marilena Marshall**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilena Marshall, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Marilena was born on September 23, 1963, in Leon, Iowa to Margie and Jessie Crawford and spent her life bringing warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She departed from this world peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 62, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew her.

A celebration of Marilena's life will be held in her honor, where family and friends can come together to share stories, laughter, and love-just as she would have wanted. Visitation is set for Friday October 10th, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Services are set for Saturday October 11th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Owens, officiating , and we invite all who knew her to join us in remembering the beautiful impact she had on our lives.

Marilena is survived by loving husband Timmy Marshall of Snyder, Texas, one daughter Margaret and husband Victor Chhuor of San Angelo, Texas.

Marilena is preceded in death by her father Jessie Crawford and mother Margie Crawford, along with one brother Carlton Crawford.

Marilena's spirit was as vibrant as her smile. She was dedicated to her family and will be profoundly missed by her loving husband, Timmy Marshall, and her daughter Margaret and husband Victor Chhuor. Marilena had a unique ability to uplift those around her, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. She loved to crochet and her favorite color was yellow. She was such a caring woman.

As we reflect on Marilena's life, let us carry her light in our hearts, cherishing her memory and the love she so generously shared. She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Marilena.
