Maria Alicia Leiba, age 78, passed away in Snyder on Saturday, August 24th, 2024.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 at 7:30 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1311 Avenue K, Snyder, Texas 79549 with Father Selva Nayagam Pappu, HGN officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mrs. Leiba was born on December 1st, 1945 in Snyder, Texas to Sesario and Elvira (Pacheco) Martinez. she married Thomas Leiba, Jr. on December 1st, 1965, in Snyder, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 28th, 2009. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She loved her family, listening to music and dancing.

She is survived by

Daughter, Rebeca Castillo of Snyder, TX;

Granddaughter, Milayna Robles and husband Gerardo of Snyder, TX;

Grandson, Andrew Thomas Chavarria and wife Brandi of Snyder, TX;

2 Great-Grandsons, Mael Rios and Julian Chavarria, both of Snyder, TX;

Great-Granddaughter, Evangeline Marie Chavarria of Snyder, TX;

3 Sisters, Irene Sauceda and husband Teofilo of Lamesa, TX, Beatrice Solis of Snyder, TX and Elida Martinez of Snyder, TX;

2 Brothers, Sesario Martinez, Jr. and wife Angela of Wolfforth, TX and Raul Martinez of Anchorage, AK

and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Sesario and Elvira (Pacheco) Martinez; 5 Sisters, Vicenta Rodriguez, Anselma Garcia, Maria Carmen Romero, Dora Martinez and Sulema Martinez and

4 Brothers, Patricio Martinez, Juan Martinez, Roberto Martinez and Armando Martinez.
