Lynda Kay Strong

Lynda Kay Strong, age 80, passed away in Snyder on Saturday, June 15th, 2024.

Family Visitation is planned for Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at 10:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 208 37th St., Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Rick Owens officiating and assisted by Reverend Billy Johnson. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Strong was born on January 18th, 1944 in Tahoka, Texas to Harvey Herman and Clairice Jean (Hill) Freeman. She married Glenn David Strong on April 20th, 1972, in Hermleigh, Texas. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, loved her family, cooking, gardening, her three dogs and her Croc Shoes.

She is survived by

Husband, David Strong of Snyder, TX;

Son, Kaleb Strong of Snyder, TX;

3 Daughters, Christy Nix of Lubbock, TX, Sherri Williams and husband Tim of Denver City, TX and Kathy Scott of Midland, TX;

numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren;

3 Fur Babies, Moe, Tilly and Minnie Pearl;

and Her Friends at United and Wal-Mart.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Harvey Herman and Clairice Jean (Hill) Freeman.
