Louis was a man who loved many people, and he made sure they knew it. To countless individuals, he was known as Dad, Brother, Uncle, and Grandpa-even when they weren't related by blood. That distinction never mattered to Louis. He loved people for who they were, welcomed them as family, and you could always count on him to give you a nickname, whether you wanted one or not.
Louis was a skilled concrete finisher who took great pride in his work. His dedication and craftsmanship reflected his artistry and strong work ethic. Through all of life's seasons, he remained faithful until the very end.
Family meant everything to Louis. He was happiest when everyone was gathered together, no matter the occasion. When life became difficult, he knew the importance of keeping his family close, and he lived that belief every day.
Louis enjoyed watching westerns, gardening, feeding his birds, telling stories, and making people laugh. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Franco; his children Louis Franco (Lisa), Eddie Franco (Fe), Starlet Franco, Jason Franco, Gabriel Franco, Ray Franco, Armando Franco (Tammy), Jason Barajas (Morgan), Jacob Franco, and Olivia Franco; his siblings Gregoria "Golla" Rivera, Refugio "Cuco" Franco (Juanita), Jesus "Chuy" Franco, Alfredo Franco (Adela), Israel Franco (Delia), and Roy Franco (Alva); 31 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Josefa "Pepe and Chepa" Franco; his brothers Solomon, Felix, Lolo, and Richard Franco; his sisters Eliova Arispe and Lidia Alvarez; his sons Michael Franco and Jesse Gardner; and his grandson Moses Franco.
To honor Louis best, his family encourages everyone to keep their loved ones close, share laughter often, and make memories that will be cherished forever.
