Linda Hughes, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023.

Family Visitation is planned for Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel 200 E. 37th Street Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Darrell Patterson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hermleigh Cemetery.

Linda Marie Hughes- born April 16, 1944, in Hermleigh, Texas. Linda worked for American State Bank for many years. Married to Wayne Hughes on July 3rd, 1964. He preceded her in death on January 14th, 2011. Linda loved cats and going to lunch with her good friends on Wednesday afternoon. She was the longest standing member of The Hermleigh Methodist Church in which she became a member in 1956.

She is survived by her two sons, Darren of Snyder, TX and Michael of Lewisville, TX.

She was preceded in death by her Father Ocie Vest; Mother, Louise Vest, Husband, Charles Wayne Hughes and her Sister, Ociene Mayo.
