Lillie Ruth Pittman

Lillie Ruth Pittman, age 82, passed away on Friday, January 7th, 2022.

Family Visitation is planned for Sunday, January 9th, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Wofford officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Rotan Belvieu Cemetery.

Mrs. Pittman was born on March 2nd, 1939 in Rotan, Texas to Raymond and Mary (Nutt) Cornelius. She married Kenneth Pittman on April 9, 1969 in Odessa, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2007. She loved her family, listening to gospel music, puzzles, playing wahoo and hummingbirds.

She is survived by
3 Daughters, Dora Welsh and husband Tommy of Snyder, TX, Dona Wasson-Boen and Husband Bobby of Rotan, TX and Ruthie Brown and husband Roy of Snyder, TX;
5 Sons, Dennis Wasson of Carrollton, TX, Donald Wasson and wife Emily of Snyder, TX, Kenneth Pittman, Jr. and wife Shana Stark of Utah, Jimmy Pittman, Sr. and wife Belinda of Ira, TX and Lester Pittman and wife Sharon Clark of Coahoma, TX;
35 Grandchildren and 41 Great-Grandchildren;
5 Sisters, Peggy Messick of Rotan, TX, Joyce Miller and husband Ted of Hamlin, TX, Barbara Woolf and husband Floyd of Hamlin, TX, Loretta Hudnall and husband Wallace of Sweetwater, TX and Rosie Wright of Hamlin, TX;
and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Raymond and Mary (Nutt) Cornelius; Husband, Kenneth Pittman; 3 Sisters, Doris Johnson, Ola Mae Woolf and Glenda Nash, daughter in law Julie Wasson, grandson Dennis Wasson Jr., Son in law Larry Gilbreth and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
