Lida Anniece Trujillo (Hardy) 87, passed away on January 25, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Anniece was born on July 31, 1938, in Snyder Texas to Charles and Florence Hardy.
The visitation for Lida Anniece Trujillo will be Thursday January 29,2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Services are set for Friday January 30,2026 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bert Guzman Officiating the service.
Anniece met her true love Rudy Trujillo in Pueblo Colorado. They married on December 18,1968 in Pueblo Colorado. They moved to Snyder Texas in 1978. Rudy and Anniece opened Rudy's Restaurant July 1995. She retired from the restaurant business in 2003 to follow her dreams.
You would always catch her in the stands watching her son and grandsons playing baseball. She always enjoyed having all of grandchildren over and spending time with them. Her favorite saying was "You can have whatever you want at Nana's house.
She is survived by her husband Rudy Trujillo of Snyder, Tx. Sons Cory Trujillo and wife Veronica Trujillo of Snyder, Tx, and Chuck Samons and wife Pauline Samons of Charlotte, NC. Her brothers Bob Hardy of Ingleside, Tx, and Marvin Hardy of Lake Havasu, Az. Her 8 grandchildren Reagan Trujillo of San Angelo, Tx, Zachary Deere and wife Adriana Deere of San Angelo, Tx, Joey Selvera Jr. of Lubbock, Tx, Daniel Selvera of Lubbock, Tx, Jasmine Selvera of Lubbock, Tx, Destiny Selvera of Lubbock, Tx, Chase Samons of Midland, Tx, and Lindsey Samons of Denver Colorado. 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Florence Hardy, Sons James Bruns and Carl L. Samons. A brother EW Hardy, and two sisters Margaret Fraily and Mae Jean Gonzales.
The family would like to give a special thank you to staff at Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic, Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital and West Texas Home Health.
