Leland Moffett

Leland Moffett, 85, of Snyder, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Lubbock, TX

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry McAden officiating.

Mr. Moffett was born September 18, 1930 to D.L. and Neva (Aiers) Moffett. He married Patsy on March 10, 1976. They were married for 40 years. He served in the United States Army and retired from Weatherford International. One of his many past times was taking care of his yard. He was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and then later, Trustee.

Mr. Moffett enjoyed helping others, even after he passed. His joke was alway that when he died, he was going to college. Mr. Moffett willfully willed himself to the Texas Tech Willed Body Program. He will be greatly missed by all of the lives that he touched.
