Laura Powell

Laura Franklin Powell, 63, longtime resident of Snyder, died March 25, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a brief illness.

Graveside services for Mrs. Powell will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Highfieid officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 from 6 PM to 7PM at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Laura Gladys Franklin was born March 27, 1952 in Knox City, TX to Zane and Martha (Billington) Franklin. She grew up in Munday, TX where she graduated high school. She married Willam Powell, November 2, 1979 in Abilene, TX. Laura was the co-owner of Sweet Williams

She is survived by her husband William of Snyder

She is preceded in death by a son William Wade Franklin Powell, sister Zanell Powell and her parents Zane and Martha Franklin.
