Kimberly Annette Walker

Kimberly Annette Walker, age 31, from Snyder, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Lubbock. A Celebration of Life for Kimberly will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Russell Orr officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Kimberly was born August 7, 1985 in Lubbock, Tx to James and Karen (Holder) Walker. She was a graduate of Snyder High School. She graduated WTC in 2008 and Texas Tech in 2010 with her Masters. Kimberly loved, lived, enjoyed and shared life. She loved traveling abroad, especially to New York where she loved Musical Theatre on Broadway. Christmas was always her favorite time of year. She was also very interested in Texas history and politics. Kimberly Loved....... She loved her cats, she loved her family and she loved helping people. Along with these loves, she loved her friends and family at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. The bonds made with her out there with the employees and patients were priceless. She was employed as an Admitting Clerk, but was much more than that, she was a friend. Kimberly is survived by her parents James and Karen Walker of Snyder her twin sister, best friend, travel companion: Tammy Walker of Lubbock Honorary brother and true friend, Devin Blackwell of Brownwood 4) Aunts Donna Barron and husband Wayne of Big Spring Carolyn Harrington of Big Spring Linda Goen of Post Ann Holman of Aida, Ok 3) Uncles Steve Holder and wife Diane of Wylie Johnny Walker and wife Glenda of Moore, Ok (Honorary) Rusty Orr and wife Sheryl of Weatherford Several Cousins She was proceeded in death by her Maternal grandparents Albert and Lonelle (Osburn) Holder, paternal grandparents Raymond and Tressie (Terry) Walker, honorary grandfather Rob Robinson, an uncle Jerry Goen, and cousin Jerry Goen Jr. The family would suggest donations to be made to the Codgell Memorial Auxillary Scholarships.
