Kenny Wayne Miller, age 78, of Snyder, went to his heavenly home on May 24, 2026.

Kenny was born on October 17, 1947, in Haskell to Melvin and Juanita Miller. He lived a life full of creativity, kindness, laughter, and friendship. Kenny never met a stranger and was known throughout the community for his caring nature and his ability to make people smile with a good story or joke. He loved singing and playing the guitar, and his warm spirit made him a friend to all who knew him.

Visitation for Kenny Miller is set for Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Graveside service is set for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 am at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, Texas, with Pastor Cody Wall officiating the services.

Kenny graduated from McMurry University with a degree in Art. He began his teaching career as an art teacher at Travis Junior High and later continued teaching at Snyder High School. He found great joy in creating artwork and making signs in his shop on 25th Street. Around Snyder, few people could miss his famous sign truck, affectionately known as "Old Green," traveling through town. Kenny often spoke fondly of the many friendships he built over the years through his work and life.

Kenny was an avid golfer and deer hunter. He and his wife, Debby, especially enjoyed spending time together at the trailer on their hunting lease, making precious memories surrounded by the outdoors he loved so much.

He is survived by his wife, Debby Miller of Snyder, Texas, daughter Amy Miller of Leander, daughter Mendy Kay Peterson and husband Brian Peterson of Corsicana, granddaughter Eli Grace Cline of Austin, granddaughters Kaylynn and Kotie Orosco of Big Spring, sister-in-law Sue Miller of Haskell, niece Tammi Hawkins and family of Haskell, cousin Ember Miller of Abilene, special friends Dink Foree, Steve Harper, Tommy Wright, Angel Dominguez, Daryl Drain, Eddie Williams, and his beloved dog, Maggie Mae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Juanita Miller, brother, David Miller, nephew Jay Scott Miller, stepdaughter Jody Orosco, and friends Buddy Powell, Danny Rhea, and John Cline.

Kenny's legacy of creativity, humor, friendship, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
