Joseph Pyburn

Joseph Pyburn, age 48, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home in Snyder.

Family Visitation is planned for Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 6-7PM in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 1 O'clock PM in the Chapel with Rev. Steve Highfield officiating. Burial will follow in Hermleigh Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Pyburn was born on Monday, April 17, 1967 in Annapolis, Maryland to Thomas Nathan & Johnnie Elta Pyburn. He married Cris Jones on Saturday, February 11, 1995 in Snyder, Texas. He worked as a Correctional Officer at the Price Daniel Unit for 8 years. He enjoyed music, pool, playing instruments and being an artist as well as being a pit-master griller.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cris Pyburn, 3 Daughters Brandy Rae Pyburn Bishop & Husband Charles III, Cristen Dawn Pyburn, and Dawna Dee Pyburn & Fiance Jerry Grimmett all of Snyder, Texas; 3 Brothers Thomas Nathan Pyburn, Jr., Donald Pyburn both of California and John Ray Pyburn of Snyder, Texas; 4 Sisters Jenny Noah, Linda Lopez, both of North Carolina, Laverne Holloway, and Tommie Reynolds both of Snyder, Texas; 2 Grandchildren Charles Bishop IV, and McKinnley Grace Bishop.

He was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter Kylie Rae Bilberry, Parents Thomas & Johnnie Pyburn, In-laws Ray & Doris Jones, and Brother-in-Law Ray Allan Jones, Jr.
