Jose J. Rocha

Jose (Joe) Jaramillo Rocha, 65, of Snyder, Texas, passed away on January 6, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Joe was born on February 10, 1959 in Floresville, Texas, to Leonora Jaramillo Rocha and Enrique Rocha.

Visitation and Rosary will be held at Miller Family Funeral Home (200 E. 37th Street) on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm in Snyder, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1311 Avenue K, Snyder, Texas 79549 with Father Selva Nayagam Pappu, HGN officiating. Committal Service will be in Poth, Tx at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery on January 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm, officiated by Deacon Jesse Nunez.

Joe worked as a derek man and floor hand in the oilfields for a number of years before he took a job on the drilling rigs. His last position in the oilfields was with J.B. Drilling before illness and a decline in his health forced him to retire.

Joe loved watching his T.V. shows: I.D. Channel and Netflix and cheering on America’s team his, Dallas Cowboys; playing his scratch offs, gambling, his chicken fried steaks with brown gravy and snow cones, but he loved to laugh and make jokes most of all.

Joe Jaramillo Rocha is survived by his children, daughters: Bianca Gonzalez and husband Joe Gonzalez, Jessica Gonzalez and husband Pedro Gonzalez Jr. and Stephanie Rocha all residents of Snyder, Texas; son Joshua Rocha of Floresville, Texas; granddaughter Naudia Tate and husband Logan Tate from Snyder, Texas, grandsons Sergio Villisana, Joey Jacob Hernandez, and Ian Rocha residents of Snyder, Texas. Last but not least, the newest addition to the family, great-granddaughter Mariella Grace Tate; sisters: Rosalinda and Alberto Lopez of Poth, Tx, Adela and Joe Sanchez of Snyder, Tx, Mary and Jaime Bejarano of Rowena, Tx, Irene and Patricio Ramirez of Floresville, Tx, Sandra and Albert Servin of Katy, Tx; brothers: Angel Rocha and wife Anna of Houston, Tx, and Valdemar Rocha of Houston, Tx.

Preceding Joe Rocha in death are his parents Leonora Jaramillo Rocha and Enrique Rocha; his brothers Enrique (Henry) Rocha Jr. and Fred Rocha; son, Jose (Joey) Jaramillo Rocha Jr.; Partner Jolene Muller.
