Jonathan Rangel

Jonathan Rangel, age 80, passed away in Loraine on Friday, October 13th, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 10:00 am at Dunn Church of Christ, Dunn, Texas with Minister Roy Rosson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Rangel was born on May 11th, 1943 in Hidalgo County, Texas to Pablo and Anselma (Cabrera) Rangel. He married Gloria Sernia and she preceded him in death on October 13th, 2015. Mr. Rangel was a member of Dunn Church of Christ and he enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers.

He is survived by

Wife, Cristine Morelion of Loraine, TX;

Son, Jonathan Rangel, Jr. and wife Rachel of Loraine, TX;

Granddaughter, Marissa Kuhel and husband Gary of Colorado City, TX;

Grandson, Zachary Rangel and fiance Danielle Guadian of Snyder, TX;

2 Great-Grandsons, Adam Kuhel of Colorado City, TX and John Ramon Rangel of Snyder, TX;

Great-Granddaughter, Addison Kuhel of Colorado City, TX;

Step-Daughter, Crissy Villa and husband Luis of Ft. Worth, TX;

Step-Son, Antonio Fernandez and wife Samantha of Ft. Worth, TX;

and Numerous Step-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Pablo and Anselma (Cabrera) Rangel and wife, Gloria (Sernia) Rangel.
