Johnny Maldonado Cruz

Johnny Cruz, 56, of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 23rd, 2024 from 10:00 am -12:00pm at the Generations Church, located at 5201 University Ave, Lubbock, Tx. Services will be held at 12:00pm following the visitation, with Pastor Ed Ainsworth officiating.

Johnny was born July 20, 1968, in Herford, TX to Francisco and Victoria (Maldonado) Cruz. He married Ramona Farias on November 6th, 1994 in Lubbock, TX. Johnny was a huge fan of the New York Giants, but loved his family more. Johnny was always expressing, "Live Your Life!"

He is survived by his

Wife, Mona of Lubbock, TX;

Son, Ronnie Cruz and wife Carlea of Oklahoma;

their children, Aaliyah, Serenity and Jaci;

Daughter, Elizabeth Cruz of Lubbock, TX;

her son, Elias;

Brother, Julian Cruz of Springfield, TX;

2 Nieces and 1 Nephew.

Johnny was preceded in death by his Parents, Francisco and Victoria (Maldonado) Cruz and Brother, Francisco Ramirez Cruz, Jr.
