Joe Weldon Cooley

Joe Weldon Cooley, age 72, passed away in Sweetwater on Thursday, August 29th, 2019.

A Family Gathering with friends, are planned for Friday, August 30th, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Gail, Texas. Graveside Services will be on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Gail Cemetery with Bro. Randy Hardman officiating. Services are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Cooley was born on November 16th, 1946 in Rotan, Texas to Weldon and Stella (Pryor) Cooley. He married Pam Aten on June 09, 1967 in Lamesa, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gail, Loved spending time with his family, hunting and watching TV.

3 Sons, Chris Cooley and wife Tracy of Gail, TX, Cody Cooley and wife Sarita of Lamesa, TX and James Cooley and wife Tiffany of Gail, TX;
Daughter, Tammy Cooley of Snyder, TX;
5 Grandchildren, Jake Cooley of Gail, TX, Michael Cooley and wife Rachelle of Colorado Springs, CO, Stefanie Cooley of Big Spring, TX, Grace Cooley of Gail, TX and Jackson Cooley of Gail, TX;
2 Great-Grandchildren, Braylee and Easton Cooley of Colorado Springs, CO;
3 Brothers, Tommy Cooley of Gail, TX, Teddy Cooley and wife Dana of Fluvanna, TX and Gene Cooley and wife Cindy of Amarillo, TX;
and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Audrey Weldon and Stella (Pryor) Cooley and Brother, Wayne Cooley.
