Jimmy Gus Thomas

Jim G. Thomas, 87, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home near Hermleigh. Jim was born June 30th, 1934 in Archer City, Texas to Chester and Virginia Thomas. He married Marie Cochran on August 2nd, 1956 in Aztec, New Mexico.

A Memorial service will be planned, for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Jim worked many years in the oilfields of Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Later he went to work for Sears, in Snyder, as a serviceman where he retired after 30 years.

He is survived by his
Wife, Marie Thomas of Snyder, TX;
Son and Daughter-in-law, Jim and Pam Thomas of Snyder, TX;
2 Sisters, Polly Neville of Plano, TX and Margaret Bradley of Amarillo, TX;
Brother and Sister-in-law, Mark and Penny Cochran of Snyder, TX;
3 Step-Grandchildren, Jason Conrad and wife Christina, Molly McGregor and husband Jordan and Kaz Conrad and wife Lisa;
7 Great-Grandchildren
and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother and Sister-in-law, Charles and Rita Thomas; Sister and Brother-in-law, Pauline and Don Neville; 2 Brothers-in-law, Ralph Bradley and Bob Neville and Great-Granddaughter, Madison Conrad.
