Jeral Valton Beard

Jeral Valton Beard, age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 28th, 2023.

No visitation planned. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 pm at 37th Street Church of Christ with Mr. Russell Riggan officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Beard was born on September 11th, 1930 in Linden, Texas to L.L. and Thelma (Perser) Beard. He married Doris Floyd on June 29th, 1950 in Snyder, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 24th, 2009. He was a member of 37th Street Church of Christ and the owner of Beard Van Lines, for over 33 years, an avid golfer and loved by many.

He is survived by

2 Sons, Larry Beard of Snyder, TX and Ricky Beard and wife Janice of Granbury, TX;

2 Grandsons, David Beard and wife Amber of Snyder, TX and Tanner Beard of Toluca Lake, CA;

2 Granddaughters, Jennifer Beard of Snyder, TX and Lexie Beard of Round Rock, TX;

1 Great-Grandchild, Kaylee Beard, Trinidad, CO;

Brother, C.L. Beard and wife Carol Ann of Wickenburg, AZ.

He was preceded in death by Wife, Doris (Floyd) Beard and Son, Jerry Beard.
