Janice Hayley

Janice Lee Hayley 75, passed away on Friday October 17,2025 in Snyder, Texas. She was born on December 14,1949 to Gene and Lee Sears in Sweetwater, Texas.

The Celebration of Life services will be on November 14,2025 at 11:00 am, at Victory Baptist Church in Snyder, Texas. Jay Kincade is officiating and Abner Razon SDA helping.

Janice was known by many by the name of "Oma" she fiercely loved the Lord and all of his people. She loved everyone so much that she claimed numerous people as her adoptive kids and grandchildren. You rarely caught her without her dogs Daisy and Sugar. She loved to dress them up and take them places especially to Walmart. Oma loved games and hanging out with everyone who came by. She never met a stranger and would say her goodbyes reminding you that you were in her prayers. She loved the holidays and usually colored her hair accordingly. Oma never went a day without sharing the word of God. She was a prayer warrior and loved the Lord with all her heart. She will be deeply missed by so many people.

Janice "Oma" was survived by two sons Terri Hayley (Pam) of Sedro Wooley, Washington, Jerri Hayley (Rochelle) of Snyder, Texas. One daughter Jodi Sterriker (Ray) of Leander, Texas. One brother Tommy Sears of Tennessee. Four sisters Donna Larson (Fred) of Fairfield, Montana, Rhonda Eve (Milton) of Abilene, Texas, Stormie Sears of Tennessee, and Channin Vandiver (Corey) of Big Spring, Texas. Five granddaughters Courtney Campbell of Mcpherson, Kansas, Stephanie Hayley of Trinidad, Colorado, Shelby Garza (Pedro) of Greenville, Texas, Gia Hayley of Snyder, Texas, Hayley Taylor of Snyder, Texas, Three grandsons Tanr Hayley of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Anthony Taylor (Andrea) of Dallas, Texas and Hayden Taylor (Sophia) of Bertram, Texas. Twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice "Oma" was preceded in death by her father Lee Sears and mother Gene Sears. Two brothers, Stephen Sears and Lee Sears. Two sisters, Terri Sears and Susie Gartman.
