James Willard Wooddell

James Willard Wooddell, age 92, passed away on Sunday, November 1st, 2020. Family Visitation is planned for Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 at 10:00 am at Apostolic Church of Jesus, 300 S. Lightfoot St., Loraine, Texas 79532 with Bro. Howard officiating and assisted by Bro. Worley. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Loraine Cemetery, Loraine, Texas. Mr. Wooddell was born on December 9th, 1927 in Champion, Texas to Coy and Beulah (Gibson) Wooddell. He Loved his family, playing his guitar and singing, gardening, playing his fiddle, barbequing, making hot sauce, fishing and wearing his boots and cowboy hat. He is survived by Wife, Mary Wooddell of Loraine, TX; 4 Sons, Jimmy Wooddell and wife Linda of Columbus, TX, Jeffrey Wooddell and wife Sissy, James Wooddell of Pittsburg, TX and David Hesskew of Mesquite, TX; 2 Daughters, Brenda Molina of Colorado City, TX and Janice Wooddell of Loraine, TX; 2 Sisters, Glenda Halton of Loraine, TX and Donna Weaver and husband Tommy; 22 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Parents, Son, Ronald Dale Wooddell; Brother, Dale Wooddell and 2 Sisters, Nelda Jean White and Louise Liles.
