James "Pops" Daniel Quinney, Jr., age 85, passed away in Snyder on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019. No Funeral Services planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Mr. Quinney was born on December 30th, 1933 in Stockdale, Texas to James Daniel and Olive Model (Rodgers) Quinney. He married Lorita Suttle on April 14, 2001 in Snyder, Texas. He was an extraordinary man who loved to sing and yodel. He was always wanting to make others smile. James served in the U.S. Army and was a fabrication welder, for most of his life. He was gifted and could build just about anything out of metal. He will be Greatly Missed. He is survived by Wife, Lorita (Suttle) Quinney of Snyder, TX; Daughter, Debra Miller and husband Lee Roy, Jr. of Cuthbert, TX; 7 Grandchildren, James Mark Quinney and wife Beth of Abilene, TX, Laurie Bruner and husband Brian of Odessa, TX, Samantha Gulley and husband Scott of San Angelo, TX, Glenn Carr of Snyder,TX, Katy Henderson and husband Zachary of Crosby, TX, Lyndsey Sarnagin and James Sarnagin. 3 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by Parents, James Daniel and Olive Model (Rodgers) Quinney, First Wife, Treva Mahan Quinney and Daughter, Linda Sarnagin.
