Jalene Mcbroom

Jalene McBroom, 47, of Snyder, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2025. Born on September 30, 1977, in Rotan, Texas, Jalene brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

She married the love of her life, Carl McBroom, on October 23, 2000. Together, they built a life centered around family, friendship, and love. Jalene worked as an office administrator for an oilfield company, where her dedication and cheerful spirit were appreciated by all her colleagues.

A devoted wife, mother, stepmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother, Jalene is survived by her husband, Carl McBroom of Snyder; son, Rance McBroom of Snyder; stepdaughter, Jennifer McBroom of Snyder; stepson, Justin McBroom and wife Melissa of Richardson; her mother, Darlene Young of Spur; niece, Savannah Bunchett and husband Sheldon of Jayton; nephew, Blaine Young and wife Taviann of Wildorado; and two cherished grandchildren, Colet and Grant McBroom of Richardson. Along with numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Young, and her brother, Jody Young.

Jalene's greatest joy came from being involved in her son Rance’s life—faithfully attending his baseball, basketball, and football games, as well as his school and FFA events. She also deeply valued time spent with her many dear friends, whose lives were brighter because of her presence.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Friday, July 11th, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Miller Family Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Spur Cemetery at 1 p.m.

Jalene’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be dearly missed.
