Gabriel Arturo Guerrero Jr., 20, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Stanton, Texas.

He was born on September 27, 2005, in Del Rio, Texas, to Gabriel Guerrero Sr. and Maria Ruiz Guerrero.

Visitation is set for April 30,2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Miller Family Funeral Home. Services are set for Friday May 1,2026 at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Albert Joseph Devansan HGN will be officiating the service, interment will follow at the Fluvanna cemetery.

Gabriel's life, though far too short, was filled with love, promise, and the joy he brought to those around him. Gabriel enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed coaching little league baseball. Gabriel graduated high school at Borden County High School class of 2024 and was a graduate of Western Texas College lineman program 2025. He worked as a lineman for Oncor. Gabriel (Gabe) was a hard-working lineman, a man who loved the outdoors, and hunting and most of all someone who truly loved his family and friends. He was loved by so many and was the happiest person.

He was a humble and kind young man. He always had a beautiful smile on his face. He learned the value of hard work from his dad and committed with pride every day. His strength and dedication will always be part of his legacy. He loved to play football for the varsity football team for Borden County High school. He was the homecoming king of his class of 2024.

He was a good friend, his friendship meant so much and he touched the lives of everyone who knew him. To know him was to love him. He loved his teachers, coaches, and the new friends from college and from his job at Oncor, all the crew were loved by him.

He is survived by his parents Maria Ruiz Guerrero and Gabriel Arturo Guerrero Sr. of Fluvanna, Texas, two sisters Alba Mariana Guerrero and Dulce Maria Guerrero of Fluvanna, Texas, one brother Max Guerrero of Fluvanna, Texas, Grandpa Edmundo Guerrero, uncle and aunt Gilberto and Mayra Edmundo Guerrero of Del-Rio, Texas, Pablo, Cinthia and Ericka Ruiz, numerous uncles and aunts on mothers and fathers side of family from Acuna Mexico, close family coming from Acuna Mexico, Del Rio Texas, Grandbury Texas, San Angelo Texas and Monterrey Mexico. As well as so many friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Juana Delvalle and Pablo Ruiz from Acuna Mexico, and Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez Guerrero from Fluvanna, Texas. Friend Norberto Cruz from Snyder, Texas.

Though his time here was brief, the love he gave and the impact he made will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Gabriel will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
