Frank Bryant Norred

Frank B. Norred, age 90, passed away on Monday, September 28th, 2020. Graveside services will be on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at 3:00 pm (Texas Time) 2:00 pm (New Mexico Time) at San Jon Cemetery, San Jon, New Mexico with Rev. Danny Williams officiating and assisted by Bro. Glenn Beaver. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home. Frank was born in Childress, Texas on a cold day on January 16, 1930. He grew up in Bard, New Mexico, where he first began buying farms and farming. Later, he became a carpenter, building houses in New Mexico and Texas. Hazel and he pastored several churches and he became an ordained minister by the Assemblies of God and pastored more churches. Every church they pastored he remodeled the church and parsonage, giving of his talents to God. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Eugenia (Crain) Norred of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Sharon Kay (Norred) Holmes and husband Riley of Mansfield, Missouri, son, Justin Edward Norred and wife Bonnie of Snyder, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Melinda Kay (Holmes) Stump and husband Joe Bob of Elmer, Nebraska, Jeremy Roy Holmes and wife Lauren of Edna, Kansas, Ashley Nichole (Holmes) Streseman and husband Matthew of Houston, Texas and Kristopher Paul Norred of Odessa, Texas; 7 great-grandchildren, Maddie and Hayden Stump, Erika, Jett and Jadon Holmes and Aaron and Lindsey Norred. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Seth and Eddie Mae (Allen) Norred; 3 brothers, Charles Norred, Buddy Norred, Billy Norred and sister, Maxine Johnson. He loved the Lord and served him for over seventy years and we receive great comfort knowing he is in heaven and we will see him again.
