In loving memory of Esmeralda Villanueva, whose kindness and spirit will forever be cherished. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Esmeralda Villanueva passed away on May 1, 2025, in Hermleigh, Texas.

She was born to Esperanza Villanueva and Pablo Villanueva on May 8th, 1959, in Houston, Texas. We find comfort in the memories of her life. Esmeralda touched the lives of so many, with her generosity and her unwavering spirit.

A celebration of life service will be held on May 17th, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held afterwards from 11:00AM to 8:00 PM.

Esmeralda was well known and apricated for her hard work, dedication and loyalty to those she loved, and the things she loved the most. She was patient, kind, and a giving woman. Although she never had kids of her own, she took pride in helping raise her nieces and nephews alongside her siblings.

Survived by siblings, Paul Villanueva, Israel Villanueva, Minerva Fuentez, Rebecca Santos. Her aunt Emma Guzman and Tony Hernandez. Nieces Monica Fuentez, and family. Cynthia Arellano and husband Johnny Arellano. nephews, Miguel Fuentez, Marcus Fuentez, and wife Crystal Fuentez. Mario Fuentez and wife Lisa Fuentez, Paul Garcia and Brittany Rivera, Wolfgang Garcia and wife Darlene Garcia, Jonathan Garica and wife Kenzi Garcia, Edward Guzman, and Michael Guzman and their families. Alongside many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Her mother Esperanza Villanueva and her father Pablo Villanueva, and one sister Mary Villanueva.
