Edward "Eddie" Carl Phillips, Jr., age 63, passed away in Snyder on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022.


No Visitation planned. Funeral services will be on Sunday, July 24th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 208 37th St. Snyder, Texas 79549 with Pastor Rick Owens officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.


Mr. Phillips was born on July 3rd, 1959 in Snyder, Texas to Edward Carl and Lillie Mae (Ashlock) Phillips. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, collecting, laughing and giving. He had a Big Heart and was known for telling tall tales.


He is survived by

Daughter, Kerri Sue King of Sweetwater, TX;

5 Sisters, Bennie Mae Halford of Snyder, TX, Louise Ball and husband Nolan of Snyder, TX, Faye Blackledge of Snyder, TX, Linda Luna and husband Adolpho of Snyder, TX and Debbie Grice and husband Jimmy of Loraine, TX;

Sister-in-law, Nancy McFatridge of Snyder, TX;

3 Brothers-in-law, Robbie Smith of Granbury, TX, Delbert Jenkins of Snyder, TX and Troy Botts of Snyder, TX;

and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by Parents, Edward Carl and Lillie Mae (Ashlock) Phillips; Brother, W.C. McFatridge and 3 Sisters, Brenda Botts, Jackie Jenkins and Sherrie Smith.
