Dominga (Dillard) Martinez

Dominga Dillard Martinez, 99, of Colorado City Texas passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025.


The family will be present for visitation at the Miller Family Funeral Home on Thursday January 16th, 2025. A Rosary will be recited at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel on January 16th, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Family will depart on Friday January 17, 2025, at 1: 00 pm from Miller Family Funeral Home to Colorado City, Texas. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Mommy will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Church located at 2005 Walnut St., Colorado City, Texas 79512 with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial to follow at Mitchell County Cemetery located at 200 E. 17th St. in Colorado City, Texas.


A beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. “Mommy” will be remembered for her loving heart and always ready to give and help someone out. Mommy absolutely loved to have family and friends over for gatherings, this is when she showed how she loved and received it back from all her friends and family. Mommy was so faithful with her Catholic religion and loved going to Sunday Mass. Mommy also loved to watch wrestling and her old western shows.


She is survived by her Daughters, Carolyn Bailey of Midland, Julie Jonas of Colorado City, Betty Casares of Colorado City, Sandra Vanderslice of Colorado City and Susie Henderson of Colorado City; Sons, John and wife Olga, Raymond and wife Nita, and Pablo Martinez all from Colorado City; She is also survived by her 26 Grandchildren, 61 Great-Grandchildren, 52 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.


Mommy is preceded in death by her Husband, Pablo Martinez; Sons, Jesse & Ricardo Martinez; Grandchildren, Johnny Martinez, Cynthia Salazar and Gregory Bailey.
