Deveral Wayne Gordon, age 82, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1942, in Dublin, Texas, to Troy Bishop and Dolora Mae Gordon.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hobbs Cemetery, with James Clawson officiating.

Deveral proudly served in the United States Army for many years and later worked as a pipe inspector at Tube Scope. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and dedication to his family and country.

He is survived by his son, Robert Gordon and family of England; his stepson, Marvin McClanhan and family of Snyder, Texas; two brothers, Howard Gordon and wife Judy, and Randy Gordon and wife Tina, all of Snyder, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Deveral was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Gordon; his parents, Troy Bishop and Dolora Mae Gordon; his sister, Louise Gordon; and his brother, Jerry Gordon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hobbs Cemetery in his memory.
