Delmas Marion Bowlin

Graveside services for Delmas Marion Bowlin, 84, will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2PM in the Loraine Cemetery in Loraine, Texas.

Family Visitation will be on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 4PM to 6PM at the First Baptist Church in Loraine, Texas.

Delmas passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Hendrick’s Memorial Hospital in Abilene, Texas.

He was born on Sunday, November 15, 1931 in Loraine, Texas. He graduated from Loraine High School in 1950.

Delmas married Betty Jo Owen, on December 24, 1950 and they had two children Bobby and Lea Ann. He was a long time farmer and worked with his brother, Fred Bowlin in the John Deere business. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Loraine, Texas.

He is survived by One Son & Daughter-in-law Bobby & Gwen Bowlin of Levelland, Texas; One Daughter & Son-in-law Lea Ann & Robert Ernest of San Angelo, Texas; One Brother & Sister-in-law Fred M. & Barbara Bowlin of Del Rio, Texas; Sister-in-law Pat Bowlin of Colorado City, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben & Lela Bowlin, wife Betty Jo Bowlin, and one brother Sanford Yates “Sug” Bowlin.
